We have a vacancy for a full time, temporary Teacher of Geography with effect from the start of the  summer term 2020 (20th April) for a period of up to one year to cover the current post holder’s maternity leave.

This post offers the opportunity to teach Geography to GCSE, A Level and, for an appropriate candidate, IB Diploma level.  The successful candidate will join a well resourced and vibrant Department and will be a well-qualified and capable graduate with an enthusiasm for the teaching of Geography in a large co-educational boarding school.  Innovation, flair and vision will be highly valued, as will the ability to inspire pupils both in and out of the classroom.

Applicants should evidence in the personal statement how they how the meet the requirements of the role and person specification. Salary is commensurate with experience and paid in accordance with the Christs’ Hospital Teachers’ Salary scale.

Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential and accommodation on site may be available.
