Teacher of Physics
Do you want to be part of a unique educational establishment?
Christ’s Hospital has pioneered social mobility and challenged social inequality to provide an unrivalled start in life for disadvantaged children for nearly five centuries. As economic and social inequality continue to grow in the UK, Christ’s Hospital’s mission is ever more relevant.
We have a vacancy for a full-time teacher of Physics with effect from September 2022. This post offers the opportunity to teach up to A level as well as being a part of our pupil co-curricular activities in science. Salary is commensurate with experience and paid in accordance with the Christs’ Hospital Teachers’ Salary scale which currently ranges from £26,874 – £41,620 per annum. Full participation in the broader life of this busy boarding community is essential and accommodation on site may be available.
We welcome applications from all sectors of the community as we aspire to attract staff that match the social and cultural diversity of our student intake. We consider the most important factor to be the right skills, abilities and attitude for the job which will ultimately improve the well-being and education of the pupils.
