Which adult(s) has legal responsibility for the applicant?
In almost all cases where the applicant’s mother and father are named on the birth certificate both will retain parental responsibility regardless of marital circumstances. Both the natural mother and father must therefore give permission for the child to apply for a place at Christ’s Hospital.
Parental responsibility*
Where parent(s) live abroad, a guardian is required who resides in the UK. Also, fill this section in if the applicant lives with a guardian.
Does the applicant have a guardian (in the case of where parents maybe living abroad)?*
We are in the process of expanding our school transport for day students. Please use the box below to express your interest and enable us to assess the viability of running a service in your area.
If the applicant changes school, please let us know. We will be writing to the school to request a Head Teacher’s report at a later stage in the application process.
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants.
All applicants can apply for an academic scholarship. Outstanding applicants can apply for a combination of additional scholarships from the list below.
We will send you further details regarding how to apply for a scholarship during the admissions process.
Bursaries are means-tested and may be provided to children of families in financial or other need. You will be asked to provide detailed information on a separate form about your current circumstances.
Please tick the box below if you would like us to send you an application form for a bursary:
Fee assistance is means-tested and you will be asked to provide detailed information on a separate form.

Please state if the applicant has any special educational requirements, emotional or behavioural needs or medical problems.
