The Royal Mathematical School offers a wide range of courses to ensure that all pupils are equipped for the modern world. We aim to provide the navigators of the future, just as our original charter was to provide navigators for the 17^th century.

During Key Stage 3 we ensure that the students have secure foundations with strong numeracy skills that develop into higher level algebraic understanding. We use the latest modern teaching techniques as well as a mixture of traditional approaches to help all students to progress. We are entering many students for UKMT Junior Maths Challenge as well as selected for UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge.

When Key Stage 4 begins at the start of Year 9 we introduce to the students their Edexcel IGCSE Mathematics course. Stronger students are given opportunity to take extra Edexcel Award in mathematics – Algebra Level 3 qualification. We are offering Maths club to the pupils and enter many for the UKMT Intermediate and Senior Maths Challenges.

In Key Stage 5 we offer both Edexcel GCE Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Many students are also entered for UKMT Senior Maths Challenge.
