The South-East Regional Schools’ Championships took place at Tonbridge School this year.  Slightly sweating courts at 10.30 am soon dried and a full day of Fives followed in some glorious early spring sunshine. Murray (GR/Year 13) excelled himself in the senior singles, defeating strong Tonbridge opposition to win the title; although Murray and Ollie (GR/Year 13) were unable to retain their doubles title won last year, they still walked away winning the plate competition. An honourable mention goes to Will (GR/Year 13) for winning the senior singles second plate! In the junior competition, we were stifled by a well-practised Tonbridge four, who dominated the singles; however, Tommy (GE/Year 11) made it to the semi-finals of the junior singles competition, Tommy and Max (GE/Year 11) lost out in a close three-game final in the doubles, and John (GE/Year 11) claimed the singles plate.

Well done to all the pupils for a splendid effort!
