On 9 May we were pleased to have Tommy Seagull, a trainee barrister, join us online from Florida, where he is currently working on cases surrounding Death Row.  Tommy helped the Junior Debating Society carry out a mock trial, where pupils played the jury, key witnesses and barristers in court.  In the trial, the defendant, Joshua Savage, was accused of GBH with intent, and assault on a police officer. After a series of cross-examinations, the jury found Joshua innocent of the first accusation but guilty of the second.
