Paul Cleal Visit

On 28 January, Christ’s Hospital was delighted to welcome Paul Cleal, who was a Member of the Social Mobility Commission from 2012-2016. Paul spent time with the African Caribbean Society, speaking to them about his life experiences and giving them advice on their future challenges and next steps. A number of pupils stayed behind to speak to him in more detail at the end of the session.

Paul is an advisor and non-executive board member in a diverse range of organisations developing and implementing strategy and leading change; he is also a mentor to a number of talented young individuals.

He has experience gained from 30 years working in both private and public sectors, including sixteen years as a partner in PwC.

He was recently made an OBE in the 2020 New Year honours list for his work in promoting diversity and inclusion and has an MBA from London Business School.
