Careers in Healthcare Talk

Christ’s Hospital were delighted to host the first careers talk of the term.  Sara Vaughan from Cardiff University led a brilliant presentation on Medicine, Dentistry and Healthcare.  She included a wide range of professions, including Midwifery, Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Physiotherapy.  Pupils learnt about routes into these industries.  Special guidance was given to potential doctors and dentists.  Pupils heard about course content at university, skills required in these fields, and practical tips on writing personal statements.  Sara’s presentation was very well received, and she had a queue of pupils wishing to speak to her at the end!  Many thanks to Cardiff University who have come out annually to lead this talk to our pupils.
