The annual CH Law Debate took place on 25 March in the Dominions Theatre.
The first part of the evening featured a pupil debate on the motion ‘This House supports the promotion of collective guilt after large scale crimes against humanity’. Feedback on the debate was given by Nick Stanage, an international human rights barrister with expertise in this field.
In the second part of the evening, there was a Q&A session with guest lawyers and Old Blues; pupils were invited to bring any questions they might have about a career in law to ask our expert guests! We were delighted to have a large panel this year, with expertise in a range of legal fields, including the following guests:
Tamas Lorinczy (Commerce) OB
Oscar Davies (Civil, Commercial and Employment) OB
Andrew Cosedge (Tax and Property)
Nana Sarfo-Bonsu (Trainee Barrister) OB
Jon-Selous Borlace (Tax) OB
Nick Stanage (Human Rights)
