On Sunday 14 November we held a suitably poignant Remembrance Sunday ceremony in memory of those who defended our freedom. The day began with a special Remembrance service in Chapel, after which pupils gathered silently in the Quad for the Act of Remembrance and to ‘plant’ their poppies. Grecian (Year 13) pupil Jonathan played ‘The Last Post’ beautifully on his trumpet and the Senior Grecian (Jin), Second Monitor (Alex) and contingent senior cadet (Max) laid wreaths against the commemorative plaque on the wall of Dining Hall.
