Dining hall

The Dining Hall is our largest venue for hire and the walls are covered in beautiful historic artwork. The main attraction is the 86 foot long painting by Antonio Verrio which depicts the granting of the Royal Charter to the Royal Mathematical School in 1673. Your guests will be amazed at the outstanding hall which is often referred to as similar to Hogwarts!

Although this venue is our largest for hire, the room can be cleverly split into sections for a smaller wedding. Its full capacity is 400 guests; however, the hall can have a section for the drinks reception, dining and a dance floor which ensures that events with fewer guests are not overwhelmed by the grandeur of the venue. It has a lovely stage at the far end which is perfect for your chosen wedding band as well as a pulpit with a microphone for those traditional speeches.
