Summer Visits to Christ’s Hospital

We are delighted to be able to offer Old Blues bookable un-escorted visits to the CH grounds this summertime!

For your enjoyment;

With the summer lets programme cancelled, we can now offer Old Blues this opportunity to bring their families to visit the site and walk the grounds.

* Have a picnic on Big Side * Bring your bikes and scooters for a summer’s ride around the Mile * Chapel will be open for you to visit * Dogs are welcome

Food and drink will be available to purchase from our trusted 5* hygiene rated catering vans who will be parked on site.

For your safety;

The safety of our staff and visitors is top priority and we will have a limited capacity on the number of people we can manage on site, therefore anyone wishing to visit must book in advance.

We will have staff in place to organise vehicle and foot traffic, minimise the need for personal interaction and maintain a safe flow of people coming onto the site. To aid this organisation visitors arrival and departure times will be staggered into two time slots.

We will, of course, ask our visitors to observe any social distancing measures current at the time of visiting, and enhanced cleaning regimes in line with Government guidance will be in place. Toilet facilities will be available, as will hand sanitizer stations around the site.

Unfortunately the Chapel will be the only building we are able to open for visitors on this occasion.

We understand that offering you this chance to visit the CH grounds cannot replace Old Blues Day with its highlights like Band Parade. However, we hope that this will give those of you who wish to come to the School for a leisurely visit of the site, or to show your family Christ’s Hospital, the opportunity to do so.
