It is vital that Christ’s Hospital’s expansive site, historic buildings, and new facilities are upheld to the highest standard, to ensure the School can continue to offer the best all-round experience to our pupils.
The Christ’s Hospital theatre has recently undergone essential maintenance thanks to the generous support of donors. Completed in 1974 to a design by the renowned architectural practice Howell Killick Partridge and Amis, it is now Grade II* listed. Important issues such as accessibility, fire safety, foyer capacity, general decoration and technical infrastructure were attended to and improved rendering the Theatre fit for purpose for years to come, providing a first class facility not only for pupil performers, but also for children who might become interested in the technical side of theatre.
