A MEMORIAL GATHERING FOR JAMIE COX

A get-together was held at the cricket pavilion, in Jamie’s memory, on Saturday 25^th July.  Family and friends (including many from CH), enjoyed meeting up and sharing stories of how their lives had been touched by Jamie’s humour, mischievous behaviour and kind, caring character.

Torrential rain during the afternoon, meant that the planned Cricket match had to be abandoned.  However, this did not dampen the enthusiasm of those friends that participated in the Egg & Spoon and Three Legged races!

There was a lot of laughter and some tears, on an occasion where Jamie’s joyful spirit was celebrated by those that love and miss him, in surroundings that meant so much to him.
