History of Art Visit to RA

On 24 April, a group of DG/Year 12 history of art students travelled to the Royal Academy of Arts in London to see a special exhibition entitled ‘Entangled Pasts, 1768–now’, exploring art, colonialism and change. The exhibition featured over 100 major contemporary and historical works as part of a conversation about art and its role in shaping narratives of empire, enslavement, resistance, abolition and colonialism.
